The hard shell case is a must-have for any headphone set.I bring my headphones to work with me and I know they will be safe even if someone sits on them with the hard shell. And the package easily goes into my lunch box or backpack.

This case will NOT fit a pair of over ear headphones. I did not realize this when ordering. Trying to return....
